Sofia Goggia, birthday with Lindsey Vonn: "A privilege"

Sofia Goggia turned 33 on November 15, and she celebrated her birthday in the best way possible. As witnessed via a post on Instagram, in fact, the skier from Bergamo spent the day in the company of Lindsey Vonn. With the Minnesota champion she also shared a training session and so many emotions that she publicly thanked her emblazoned colleague with touching words.

“The’other day, when I was warming up at the start of the ’upcoming downhill training – wrote Sofia Goggia on Instagram -, I turned to my Skiman and told him, excited like a little girl and smiling, ‘Today we train with Queen eh’. He nodded, replying to me that ‘she is one who’has made history in this sport’. Training and competing with Lindsey Vonn always excites me, a little bit like it&#8217s the first time, and it&#8217s just beautiful that this happiness still runs through me today, despite the fact that sharing this life on skis together may now, in so many ways, be something normal and established. It is our passion as well as our work.
