Gianni Morandi’s jibe at Jannik Sinner’s rivals triggers fans

Before the final of the Atp Finals in Turin between Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz, Gianni Morandi performed, who later took to the microphones of RAI: “I will get very excited because I have been waiting for this final for a long time. I am more for soccer but for some time now I have been following tennis”.

The famous singer then took a swipe at all of the South Tyrolean’s rivals. Quoting one of his songs, Gianni Morandi joked: “One in a thousand is Jannik, the other 999 behind him trudge on. I also like Alcaraz a lot, however, when Sinner wins I am happier”.

Gianni Morandi’s jibe sparked Jannik Sinner’s fans, who on social media immediately commented enthusiastically on the Monghidoro singer’s words: “Great, true Italian spirit!”” wrote one user. “Super Gianni, I have always had great respect for you” commented another user.
