Market: Zinedine Zidane listens to no one, already knows his future
Zinedine Zidane has made his decision and there will be nothing and no one to change his mind. As reported by AS, the former star player of, among others, Juventus and Real Madrid, is now close to returning to the bench.
Having completed his second spell with Real Madrid in 2021, the French coach has been approached by many clubs, including Juventus, but has always declined any proposal. In his mind there’s always been only one option: coaching France, his national team.
Confirmation that his “takeover” is now imminent is borne out by market rumors that Deschamps, outgoing national team of the three Gauls, is in talks to go to coach in Saudi Arabia.
After the 2026 World Cup, Deschamps will leave the France bench (with which he won a World Cup and a Nations League) to Zidane and go to coach elsewhere. Zizou is counting the days. His dream of coaching “his” France is getting closer. The’entire French nation, while respecting the great job done by Deschamps (in charge since 2012), is looking forward to the possibility of seeing Zidane on the national team bench leading the whole of France to more success.
