Embarrassment in MotoGP: Valentino Rossi booed in Valencia, Marc Marquez defends him

Moments of embarrassment during the MotoGP Awards ceremony, staged at the Valencia circuit at the end of the last race of the 2025 MotoGP World Championship. During the event, the Doctor appeared in several clips projected on stage and the Spanish audience, the vast majority of which were Marc Marquez fans, openly protested the rider from Tavullia with loud boos and booing.

The protests occurred several times, and even Marc Marquez at one point stood up for the’former rival with these phrases: “The only thing I can say is please respect everyone”.

10 years after the 2015 World Championship, the memory of the confrontation is still vivid in the thoughts of many fans. This season Marc Marquez managed to equal the number of World Championships won by Valentino Rossi, and next year he will try to surpass them.

There is also a lot of coldness between the two riders: the Doctor has stated several times that he does not intend to forgive or make peace with the Catalan champion.
