Napoli market, price set (and tough hurdle) for a target

Napoli continues to push its international dimension. After two Scudettos in three seasons and increasingly evident European ambitions, the Neapolitan club remains an attractive destination for many talented youngsters.
From Spain comes an interesting rumor: the Azzurri would target Takefusa Kubo, a star player in Japanese soccer and a name now established in La Liga. Who, however, interests Tottenham and not a little.
Born in 2001, Kubo arrived in Europe in 2019 when Real Madrid bought him from FC Tokyo, but without guaranteeing him space. Before finding continuity at Real Sociedad, where he has been playing since 2022, he played with Mallorca, Villarreal, Getafe, and Mallorca again.
The Real Sociedad team has been playing for the Real Sociedad team since 2022.
Real Sociedad has already let it be known that it will not consider offers below 58 million euros, a figure that represents the player’s weight in the Basque project. In San Sebastián they are convinced of his value and do not intend to sell him without a suitable proposal, as Football Insider reported.
For Tottenham, an assault would be a strong signal of their ambitions. The English club wants to raise the bar and add quality in an attack that is looking for fresh solutions for the decisive part of the season.
Kubo, open to a change of air, would not rule out the Napoli hypothesis either. A move under Vesuvius would combine technical performance and commercial potential, a mix that would hardly leave Aurelio De Laurentiis indifferent.
