Davis Cup, Flavio Cobolli gives decisive point to'Italy vs. Austria

In the second singles match of the Davis Cup quarterfinal match in Bologna between Italy and Austria, Flavio Cobolli, world number 22, beat Filip Misolic, number 79, with a score of 6-1 6-3, bringing the decisive point to the Italian team after Matteo Berrettini had folded 6-3 7-6 Jurij Rodionov.
Cobolli goes ahead by a break as early as the first game of the match and then makes two more in the fifth and seventh games, nullifying among other things four balls for a counterbreak at 4-1 in his own favor, the first three of them consecutive. The third break of course is also worth winning the set on the second ball.
The second set also does not have much history despite Misolic managing to hold three serves: Cobolli snatched the serve from his opponent in the second game, then risked almost nothing, except for a counterbreak ball cancelled on 3-1, and closed the account by holding serve at 15 on the first match point.
An hour and 5 minutes the duration of the match. Italy will now face Belgium in the first semifinal, which is scheduled for Friday beginning at 4 p.m. on the indoor concrete court at the SuperTennis Arena in Bologna Fiere.
