Ferrari wants to repeat in Las Vegas: Frederic Vasseur’s word

The Las Vegas Grand Prix, scheduled for the weekend, kicks off the’last three-round season, leading up to the conclusion of the F1 World Championship, scheduled as always in Abu Dhabi. The race is staged between the walls of the Strip Circuit and is the last in 2025 on a city track.
The American GP has an important novelty this year: all sessions have been brought forward by two hours compared to previous editions. The decision, made by the FIA and Formula 1, stems from the need to ease drivers and insiders ahead of the long move to the Middle East that will begin immediately after the race and the desire to offer more accessible schedules to the U.S. public. The cars will take to the track on Thursday, November 20, at 4:30 p.m. local time (1:30 a.m. CET on Friday) for the first free practice session, while the second session will be held at 8 p.m. (5 p.m. CET on Friday). The same pattern will be repeated the following day with Free Practice 3 at 4:30 p.m. (1:30 a.m. CET on Saturday) and qualifying at 8 p.m. (5 p.m. CET on Saturday). The race will be staged on Saturday, November 22 at 8 p.m. (5 CET on Sunday).
“Las Vegas is a unique event on the calendar – admitted Ferrari team principal Frederic Vasseur -: the atmosphere, the schedule – with the race taking place on Saturday night – and the track itself make it something special. In the last few rounds we have put in solid performances and have been able to fight at the front; we aim to repeat that this weekend”.
“In Las Vegas it will be especially important to focus on all the specific challenges this circuit presents. Managing the tires in very cold temperatures will once again be a key factor, as will correctly interpreting the race to identify the best strategic opportunities. As always, we will focus on ourselves, making sure that we leave nothing unexpressed in terms of performance” concluded the French manager.
