Juventus starts operations for a major reinforcement in defense ahead of the start of the winter market: the Bianconeri coach Luciano Spalletti wants a central defender up to the task, and the Turin club executives have identified Tiago Gabriel as the ideal target in the coming weeks.

According to rumors coming out of Turin, Juventus has been assiduously following the Lecce class of 2004 defender in recent months and has already made its move to grab the Portuguese in January. There is talk of direct contacts with the defender’s entourage, who is also in the sights of several Premier League clubs, attracted by the performance of the Lusitanian.

Lecce has set the price for Tiago Gabriel at 20 million euros, but could also accept some level quid pro quos to lower its demands. Among the young players who could end up in Salento is Juve’s talented Next Gen Adzic, who had been approached in the past by the Giallorossi themselves.

The Montenegrin player has been priced at €20 million.

The Montenegrin player has so far found no space with Spalletti, and the possible arrival of a new director would completely reset his chances of showing off. Hence the’hypothesis of a loan to another Serie A club.
