Roma is always looking for reinforcements in attack and is on the hunt for bargains ahead of the January market. Gasperini is clamoring for reinforcements in the offensive department and is not satisfied with either Dovbyk or Ferguson, and Giallorossi executives are looking for alternative solutions.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma is also considering the possible signing of Mathys Tel, a former Bayern French striker who cannot find space at Tottenham. The 2005-born only two years ago was considered a sure promise of soccer, but the setback of the last two seasons has devalued the price of his tag, which has dropped to around 30 million euros.

Roma is reasoning on a temporary loan until next June: Tel can play either as an outside or as a central forward. Gasperini will have the’last word.
