Mercedes, Antonelli dreams of a breakthrough

Mercedes driver Andrea Kimi Antonelli spoke at a press conference in Las Vegas: “Winning the first race here would be really special, although it is easier said than done. I obviously hope that Mercedes will be as fast as in 2024, but there is no guarantee that it will be so”.

Antonelli points the’focus on cold temperatures: “It will be a special weekend, difficult with cold temperatures and rain expected in FP2, we will see how it goes, I will have to try as always to get up to speed quickly”.

The Italian driver is a veteran of an excellent Grand Prix in Brazil: “The for me was being able to put everything together and be consistent, in Miami for example I had a great start with the pole in the Sprint Qualifying, but then as the weekend progressed I was not as effective”.
