Flavio Cobolli, the touching dedication for'friend Edoardo Bove

Flavio Cobolli spoke warmly after clinching the hard-earned tie-break victory that sent Italy into the Davis Cup final for the third year in a row: “I wanted to dedicate this victory to my mom who is not used to coming to these appointments, to my brother who is continuing to cry and to a great friend of mine, Edoardo Bove, who I hope will soon be able to return to play soccer”.
“We are a group of five guys who put everything they have every time they take the field. I was only able to bring home this victory because of them”, added the’Blue.
“We are a very united team, we all fight for each other. We are trying to reach our dream”, reiterated Cobolli, who also in the final should be the second singles player besides Matteo Berrettini, given the absences of Jannik Sinner and Lorenzo Musetti.
“I want to thank the fans because you gave me a big hand. Today I took a bit of a risk’ but playing like this is easier” he concluded by directly addressing the spectators who flocked to Bologna.
