Juventus is well aware of its shortcomings. Even Spalletti, although recently arrived in Turin, understood that a man of great experience and leadership in the middle of the field would be much needed. For this reason, during the January winter market, the Bianconeri club will try to give the new coach the right midfielder to make the necessary quality leap.

At the moment, the name in pole position seems to be that of Xhaxa. Born in 1992, the Swiss national plays with the Sunderland shirt in the Premier League. His name, in the recent past, has been approached by several Italian clubs, in particular AC Milan and Roma.

The name has been mentioned by several Italian clubs.

Now it would seem that Juventus is ready to step up in a big way, although it will not be at all easy to convince the Black Cats to let him go in January. Not to be excluded is the inclusion, in the eventual proposal, of a technical quid pro quo pleasing to the English club.

The alternatives to Xhaxa would not lack. Among the many, attention to Hojbjerg, a midfielder born in 1995 who is doing so well with the shirt of De Zerbi’s Olympique Marseille. There are those who have also made ithe name of Brozovic, currently in Saudi Arabia. In short, Juventus wants a midfielder with certain characteristics and is probing the market to find the right profile.
