Lando Norris on pole position, Ferrari nightmare in Las Vegas

Lando Norris ahead of everyone again in wet qualifying for the Las Vegas Grand Prix 2025. The McLaren Briton scored his seventh pole position of the year (and third in a row).

The world leader was 323 thousandths ahead of Max Verstappen and a surprising Carlos Sainz, who was even third in the Williams at 362 thousandths but ahead of George Russell’s Mercedes and especially Oscar Piastri’s other McLaren, only fifth at more than a second.

Badly for the Ferraris: Charles Leclerc did not go beyond ninth, last one Lewis Hamilton who also because of the yellow flags could not put together a good lap.
