Serie A market, Lorenzo Insigne prepares for star return

Lorenzo Insigne is ready to be re-embraced by the Italian league. The former Napoli captain, who terminated his contract with Toronto FC a year early, is looking to Serie A to experience what could be the last adventure of his career as a protagonist.
Insigne has been working since this summer with a personal athletic trainer with the goal of maintaining his form: just in the summer months the interest of Parma seemed strong, which then veered to other targets, while that of Lazio, whose coach Maurizio Sarri has never hidden his esteem for the Neapolitan fantasist, has been growing.
Much will depend on the biancocelesti market possibilities in January, but the club would be working precisely to seize the opportunity to include in the roster an experienced and motivated player, who also has not hidden his’ambition to look to the Azzurri in view of the commitments of the National Team in 2026.
In his experience in Canada, Insigne collected 76 appearances and 19 goals, while in Serie A he wore only the Napoli jersey, with 337 games and 96 goals. Numbers that tell an important path and that the footballer, champion of Europe with Italy in the summer of 2021, wants to further enrich in the second half of this season.
The player has also played in the Italian national team.
