Serie A, one round of disqualification for Gian Piero Gasperini

Gian Piero Gasperini will not be on the Roma bench in the super match against Napoli next Sunday at the Stadio Olimpico.

The Giallorossi coach was in fact disqualified for one turn by the Giudice Sportivo after the away match against Cremonese “for having, at the 17th of the second half, after the notification of the caution, coming out of the technical area, repeatedly and blatantly contested the referee’s decision; infraction detected by the Fourth Official.”

In Serie A, Nelson Norton-Cuffy (Genoa), who was sent off, and Ivan Smolcic (Como), who came in for his fifth penalty, were also disqualified for a day.

Finally, Martin Payero (Cremonese), Roberto Gagliardini (Hellas Verona) and Mattéo Guendouzi (Lazio) entered the list of cautions.
