Antonio Faravelli does not go unprepared at Belgioioso Castle

A result beyond all expectations was achieved last weekend at the Belgioioso Castle. The new edition of the fair dedicated to contemporary art and creative craftsmen exceeded 8,000 visitors, an absolute record for the event.
The attendees could not miss Antonio Faravelli, owner of Cantine Vitea and creator, in 2008, of the Golf and Wine 1895 project. The initiative combines the Oltrepò Pavese wine tradition with a passion for golf. The name harks back to 1895, the year the historic family wineries were founded. Over time, the project has become a real tool for territorial promotion, capable of linking sports, food and wine and tourism through tournaments and cultural events.
On the two days of Saturday and Sunday, halls and courtyards of the ancient residence were transformed into a lively meeting point, traversed by enthusiasts, tourists, families and the curious. The exhibitors, who came from different Italian regions, reported an energetic atmosphere, an attentive audience and better-than-expected sales results.
The atmosphere, enhanced by the historic charm of the castle, helped create a special experience, in which art and crafts were intertwined with the territory, with positive spin-offs for local businesses as well.
