The Euroleague round opened Tuesday night with, among others, the defeat of Virtus Bologna on the court of Fenerbahçe. The V-Nere played it out until the end, when it was Nicolò Melli who made the difference, with the tap in ddl 66-64 and an offensive foul suffered (committed by Pajola).Baldwin did not convert the free throws available but captured the rebound and no opponent managed to foul before the buzzer.

Coach Ivanovic during the post-game conference commented as follows: “We played well on defense and had good options and choices on offense, but I think the numerous turnovers and offensive rebounds conceded were the key factor that settled the game in their favor”.

Wednesday at 6 p.m. it will be Olimpia Milano’s turn, engaged in Belgrade against Maccabi Tel Aviv. Peppe Poeta will be on the bench after Ettore Messina left the’head coaching position.
