Federica Brignone, all mom Ninna Quario’s doubts about Olympics and retirement

Ninna Quario, former skier and mother of Federica Brignone, gave a long interview talking about her relationship with her daughter and more. Inevitable, however, was a question about the physical condition of the Azzurra, who is in doubt for the 2026 Milan-Cortina Olympics.

“Am I going to Cortina? If Fede competes, I will be there. One must not be optimistic in life because otherwise there is trouble. He is making almost miraculous progress, but everything depends on when he will put on skis“ he told Gazzetta dello Sport.

A passage that confirms that at the moment no one wants to get off the hook about a recovery for the five-ring competitions, after the serious injury at the end of last season.

Interesting in this sense however also the question about retirement: “She wants to be the one to decide, she doesn’t want to do it because of an injury. But it is a taboo subject: I try not to stress her because everyone has been doing nothing but asking her about the Olympics for months”.
