Jannik Sinner, a double season record ahead of Carlos Alcaraz

the ATP ranking for the end of 2025 rewarded Carlos Alcaraz, who with 12,050 points finished ahead of Jannik Sinner, who was 550 points behind. It was a remarkable season for the Spaniard, enhanced by two Slams, three Masters 1000s, and wins at Queen’s and the ATP 500 in Tokyo. In direct comparisons in 2025, moreover, Carlitos has won four out of six times.
Highlander, however, has dominated all the major ATP circuit performance rankings, such as serve, response and pressure points. Since 1991, when these statistics were introduced, no player had ever managed to lead them all at the same time.
It is striking how Sinner ended the season leading in percentage of games won on serve (92 percent), ahead of “big servers” such as Taylor Fritz (89.18 percent) and Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard (88.97 percent). Alcaraz, in this ranking, is sixth with 87.6 percent.
Also in response, Sinner leads the circuit with 32.63% of games won, just ahead of Alcaraz (31.88%) and Alex de Minaur (28.80%).
