Juventus, endless trip comes to an end: green light for return from Norway

The situation related to the icy runway at Bodo airport in Norway has been unblocked: according to Sky Sport reports, at around 1:20 p.m. Italian time the Juventus players and staff, as well as fans and journalists in tow, were in fact able to start reaching the aircraft that will take them back to Caselle in the late afternoon, given the resumption of flights at the Norwegian airport.

The runway at the Norwegian airport had been blocked for several hours due to ice: all flights were grounded, including that of the Juventus team, which was scheduled to depart at noon today. The’schedule had been delayed twice already, postponing boarding operations.

Thus ended the long trip to Norway, some 2,500 kilometers as the crow flies. Despite the difficulties related to the cold weather, the Bianconeri will return with three more points in the standings of the single Champions League group, thanks to the 3-2 success against the hosts Bodo/Glimt.
