Controversy over Jannik Sinner: Armin Zöggeler has it in for everyone

“I have always been very diplomatic and I want to keep myself out of this, but athletes have to think only about the sport and not about the rest. We all know the history of South Tyrol, we are a minority that speaks two languages but we are Italian, while preserving our dialect” continued the’former blue champion.
“So many journalists want to make this controversy just to get their name out there, and the same goes for those South Tyrolean citizens who continue to put gasoline on the fire”, Zöggeler sentenced.
The’former Meran athlete was one of the greatest luge athletes ever, with six career world titles, ten world cups and six medals at the Winter Olympics.
