Ferrari driver Lewis Hamilton spoke on the eve of the three-day Qatar Grand Prix, primarily returning to his outburst following the race in Las Vegas. The seven-time world champion’s harsh attack prompted some media to speculate on an early farewell to the Maranello-based stable, which was largely denied by the Englishman.

“I was in the midst of frustration after a race that didn&#8217t go particularly well, I&#8217m actually excited to see what the team does next year and to continue to build a relationship with them. The performance of the car these past two weekends will not change my outlook for 2026”.

Hamilton arrives at the last two races of the season with confidence: “I think the car will do fairly well in Qatar, I think in terms of the track profile the car fits pretty well. It will be hard to stay at the level of Red Bull, but I hope for a better weekend”.

On the difficult first year at Ferrari: “I think the results speak for themselves, however, we have some positives to look forward to. There is fantastic passion within the team, now let’s focus on next year. In these 12 months I simply learned how to react, how to get back on my feet”.
