Everybody in the NBA wonders who will stop OKC. Minnesota tried as well but, in the end, had to raise the white flag. The reigning NBA Champions won 113-105, earning their 18th win of the season, compared to only one loss.

Another applaudable performance for the’reigning MVP Gilgeous-Alexander who put up a whopping 40 points with an excellent 12/19 from the field. On the other side, Edwards’s 31 points were not enough to bring down the Thunder.

No record for Detroit. Reduced from 13 straight wins, the Pistons could have made history against the Celtics. If successful, they would have celebrated their longest winning streak ever. Instead, abetted by plays by Brown and Pritchard in the finale, Detroit lost the game (117-114 the final) and a’historic opportunity.

In the other contests of the night, to highlight New York&#8217s victory over Charlotte (129-101 the final) and Toronto’s umpteenth win: 97-95 over Indiana. Instead, Golden State falls, surrendering to Houston (104-100 the final, 31 points by Sheppard). Without Wembanyama, San Antonio disposes of Portland (115-102). Good Phoenix: 112-100 against Sacramento. Finally, after an overtime, Memphis rules New Orleans (133-128).
