The two matches that, at 3 p.m., kicked off Saturday’s Serie A schedule, ended with Genoa’s comeback win over Hellas Verona and Udinese’s away win over Parma. The Grifone won 2-1 over the Scaligeri, while the Friulians got the better of the Ducali, who were left in ten for half the second half.

At Marassi, it was Verona who took the lead: the Gialloblù’s goal bore the signature of Belghali, who at the conclusion of a fast restart hit the ball deflected by Leali in tap-in, depositing it in the net for the 0-1. The equalizer came at 40′: Vitinha serried Colombo with a cross, who controlled and finished with his left footer, sending the two teams to the long break at 1-1. After a goal disallowed to Vitinha for offside at 51′, Genoa completes the comeback at 62′: Ostigard hits the post with a header, on the developments of the action the ball reaches Thorsby, who this time scores. In fact, it is the goal that is worth the three points for the red and blue.

The Tardini match unlocked instead after 11 minutes: an exit as reckless as it was ineffective by Corvi allowed Zaniolo to score, giving himself his fifth goal of the season that put Udinese ahead. At 64′ came the doubling: Troilo landed Davis in the box and, after on-field review, was also sent off for preventing a clear scoring opportunity, the Udinese striker came up from the penalty spot and made no mistake. The 2-0 goal, in fact, closed the match in favor of Kosta Runjaic’s team, which regained the three points after two consecutive knockouts.

Of the four teams engaged in the first afternoon, the best in the standings thus remains Udinese, which rises to 18 points momentarily hooking Lazio in eighth place. Genoa, for its part, moves out of the relegation zone and finds Parma itself on 11 points, while Hellas Verona remains at the tail end, along with Fiorentina, on 6.
