Lecce beat Torino after a game that the Giallorossi initially dominated and controlled, only to run the risk of letting it get out of hand in the final. However, the penalty parried by Falcone to Asllani at 91′ set the final 2-1 in favor of the Salentini, who have won 7 points in the last four days and are breathing in the salvation zone.

Lecce’s victory materialized over the course of two minutes. It is 18′ and 20′ of the first half, and the Giallorossi punish Torino twice. In the first case the author of the hosts’ scoring was Coulibaly, perfect with a header off a Berisha corner. Again the Giallorossi number 10 then packs the’assist for Banda, who doubles with an easy touch one-on-one with Israel.

The game is seemingly in the bag for Lecce, but Torino finds the strength to recover. Already before halftime Asllani and Zapata tried, but finding the way to the goal was Che Adams at 57′: Banda’s mistake in midfield, Vlasic’s restart and an assist for the Scot who dumped the ball into the’cross.

The big chance was the one that got away from Israel.

The big chance for the equalizer, however, materialized after the 90′: Morente was foul on Coco in the box, the Var saw the grounds for a penalty kick. Asllani appears on the penalty spot, but he shoots weakly and centrally, not surprising Falcone. Lecce wins and puts itself in a quiet position in the standings, bad Torino, which comes to its second defeat in a row in Serie A and continues its long abstinence from victory.
