Trento falls to Milan: Massimo Cancellieri's appeal
Olimpia Milano beats Trento 94-90, and Massimo Cancellieri makes an appeal aimed at fans and even insiders following a team just one win away from the playoff zone. With respect to his team, however, pride is mixed with the knowledge that some aspects can be improved.
“We played a game until the end, and for certain stretches we did it even well – said Cancellieri in the press conference at the Unipol Arena -. Olimpia Milano played with some absences, but the quality of their players objectively created difficulties for us. We are growing and we responded as a growing group. But in the end it was episodes that decided everything, we missed two shots and they did not”.
“We are proud of our game, which was very balanced. However, if you lose 14 balls against Olimpia Milano, winning becomes difficult – observed Cancellieri -. Then against a team like ours, it is not easy to keep up under the basket. We succeeded, but the energy needed to do it is always a lot. And spending it can make you make mistakes”.

Hence Chancellor’s appeal: “This team is commendable, and losing is something that everyone regrets. So I would like to avoid the fact that every time we end up that if we get a good result we are great, while if the result is negative we are contested. These are things that I do not like”.
