Nicolò Bulega in an interview with GpOne looked back on his experience at Ducati and his debut in MotoGP: “It was a mix of emotions because I was returning to a paddock that I had left in my worst situation, in fact I had that feeling of not being sure of coming back. Between me and myself, however, I was thinking that I would be back with the Ducati, which is the most coveted bike in the paddock. FP1 was exciting, because I was leaving for my first lap with the GP25. In the helmet I said many things to myself, but I am a cold and strict with myself, in fact when I go wrong I insult myself”, explained the Emilian centaur vice-champion with SBK.

Martino DavidiMarc Marquez equals Valentino Rossi but numbers divide fans

Ninth world title for Marc Marquez.
The Spaniard has equaled Valentino Rossi.
The numbers comparing however leave the debate open.
Races run are 284 to 432, with Marquez still years ahead to close the gap.

Similar discourse for wins (99 to 115) but overtaking could happen as early as 2026.
Wider the gap at the podiums level: 165 to 235.
C'is however a statistic in which Marquez is already clearly ahead.
The Spaniard has already achieved 102 pole positions.

Valentino Rossi in his career has achieved only 65.
Marquez got it back.

The worst really seems to be over.

With this Ducati he could dominate for a long time yet.
And if he hadn’t had all the injuries of the past years…

Bulega revealed that what pushed him to try the MotoGP experience was Valentino Rossi himself: “Vale asked me a lot of questions, because he is curious, in fact he always asks me so many things. I have a good relationship with him, as I have had doubts recently, such as running with MotoGP. That’s exactly why I asked him for his opinion, because I didn’t know what to do. In my heart I know that if I should need him he is there. When I called him in October I had to decide whether to race with MotoGP. At that time I don”t deny that I had some doubts, but he told me to fuck it and go racing”.

The Emilian rider commented on Marc Marquez’s dominance this way: “He is strong with everything! We are talking about a guy who won MotoGP in his first year and he is not just any rider. I am of the opinion that if Honda had been at the top this year, he would have won with that as well. To find myself on the team with someone like him? I would be happy to have Marc Marquez as a teammate, because I would try to learn as much as I could from him, just like I did with Bautista when I first came to Superbike. I remember in those days I was asking so much, watching videos and doing the same exact thing”.

The relationship with Bagnaia: “I have always had a great relationship with Pecco, although we kind of lost each other after I left the Academy. He is a great guy, maybe a little too much, in fact in the motorcycle world you need to be a little more… We understand each other, come on”.
