Parma coach Carlos Cuesta gloats after the win at home to Pisa but keeps his feet on the ground because “the season is still long and we have to stay focused on our championship. We try to win every game, but we know that every time is different and we have to be good at adapting to the moment. And today we were able to do that. And we earned three important points”.

The Ducal coach then almost apologizes to Oristanio, who was substituted in the final after just a quarter of an hour of the game and left the field visibly upset: “He is not to blame – explains the technician – it was my choice, linked only to tactical aspects because Pisa was making a lot of crosses and I wanted to toughen up the defense.”

“I am very sorry for Gaetano, who is a player on whom we count a lot and who I am sure will give us an important hand in these months. I feel sorry for him that he was out for a long time and he wanted to play, and I have to say that he was invaluable as long as he was on the field, even playing as a fifth and as an added defender”.
