Azzurri at Mattarella’s, Monday, Dec. 22 tricolor handover ceremony

On Monday, Dec. 22, at the Quirinal Palace, starting at 12 p.m., the ceremony of handing over the flag to Italian athletes departing for the Milan Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Games will be held.
The President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, will entrust the tricolor to the flag-bearers of the respective expeditions, ahead of the fourth ever five-circle edition hosted in our country.
A representation of female and male athletes, technicians and managers, led by CONI President Luciano Buonfiglio and Italian Paralympic Committee President Marco Giunio De Sanctis, will take part in the audience.
