Talking even only about injuries, however, it went much worse for Inter, which had to deal with two bad news in the first half of the Champions League match, despite the fact that the Nerazzurri goal remained inviolate. In fact, Chivu had to replace two starters in less than half an hour. The first to raise the white flag was Hakan Calhanoglu, who came out after just 11 minutes due to a contracted right adductor: Zielinskientered in his place. Francesco Acerbi was hurt instead around 30′: right thigh flexor strain. He’ was replaced by Bisseck. For both the conditions will be evaluated in the coming days, but there is a real risk that they will have to skip the Italian Super Cup.

In the second half, Inter however built many goal chances, but the Reds were good and also lucky not to go into a disadvantage, despite the difficult moment with the Salah case (not even summoned). When the 0-0 seemed to be sealed, at a slight treatment by Bastoni on Bradley was ruled foul in the box, with the VAR calling back the Zwayer referee: Szoboszlai took full advantage of the big chance giving the English a very heavy success, also in terms of the standings. Second defeat in a row, on the other hand, for the Nerazzurri, who are hooked at 12 in fifth place by Liverpool and cannot yet celebrate qualification to the knockout stage.
