Undoubtedly, Juventus needs to intervene in the backline. Since the arrival of Luciano Spalletti, the Bianconeri have kept their goal unbeaten on only two occasions: in the derby against Torino on Nov. 8 (which ended 0-0) and in the round of 16 of the Coppa Italia against Udinese, when Teun Koopmeiners and his teammates won 2-0 thanks to Matteo Palma’s own goal and Manuel Locatelli&#8217s goal on a penalty kick. In all other challenges, Juventus has always conceded at least one goal: something is wrong and Spalletti would like to intervene as early as January to climb the standings.

Bayern Munich, farewell to the two champions: Juventus wants them both
The HCL club is looking for experienced elements to shore up the team
In Juve’s crosshairs there is Leon Goretzka, whose contract with Bayern Munich is expiring
The'renewal option is very complicated, more likely that the champion leaves Germany
Goretzka is not part of the club’s future plans and is proto to a new experience
In addition to Juventus, on his tracks there'is also José Mourinho’s Benfica
Even Raphaël Guerreiro will in all likelihood leave Bayern Munich
Juventus likes the Portuguese fullback very much: the Bianconeri consider him ideal to reinforce the team
Juve would like to sign him for free in the summer but also for Guerreiro there's competition from Mourinho
The Special One would even like to move up the timetable by buying the full-back in January
Unlikely, however, Vincent Kompany will deprive himself of it in the winter
The technician greatly esteems Guerreiro and would like to work with him at least until the end of the season

The Bianconeri helmsman’s favorite profile is Kim Min-je: the South Korean has already worked with Luciano Spalletti at Napoli and the results have been resounding. Bought by the partenopei in the summer of 2022 from Fenerbahce, the rocky central player made a devastating impact in our league and soon established himself as one of the most reliable defenders in Serie A and contributed in a very important way to the Campania side’s winning of the Scudetto. In July 2023, Bayern Munich paid Kim Min-jae’s rescission clause and secured his services for 50 million euros.

In Germany, however, Kim Min-jae had some difficulties in settling in and was soon undermined in the hierarchies. This summer the Bavarians signed Jonathan Tah on a zero-parameter basis, and the German is immovable in the pair with Dayot Upamecano.

In fact, Kim Min-jae has collected just over 700 minutes so far this season among all competitions. The scant minutes Kompany is giving him certainly cannot make him happy and he has already asked his entourage to find an alternative solution as early as the January market. Should there be a chance, Juventus would certainly make an attempt but the defender will have to lower his salary considerably if he wants to return to Italy.

Attention also to midfield, where Juventus has sniffed the Manuel Ugarte opportunity: the Uruguayan is playing very little with Ruben Amorim and would like to leave Manchester United. A permanent transfer is very difficult, more likely a loan until the end of the season.
