Mario Balotelli is not giving up, and at 35 he is still waiting for a team in Serie A. In an interview with Prime Video the former Genoa striker offered himself to clubs in the top division: “I am training with a local team from Brescia, I am always waiting for a call from Serie A, for the moment there are not, I will listen to foreign clubs if there is no chance to stay in Italy”. SuperMario still feels competitive even though his last experience at the Grifone was certainly not memorable: “I will stop only when I decide to stop, it will not be someone who will impose it on me. I don&#8217t see many soccer matches but, when it happens, I realize that soccer is now different”.

If the offers in Italy do not come“from January I will listen to foreign teams and choose the best options”. Balotelli still does not hope for a call-up to the World Cup: “I think I also have to be objective: it is not possible. Is it the dream? Obviously. I would play the World Cup even if they summoned me when I was 50 years old. It is a crazy feeling”. “Now Genoa can finally focus on people who truly love the environment, the fans and the coat of arms, and who believe deeply in the idea and the fact that Genoa deserves to be at the top. The great work experienced firsthand by Gilardino and Zangrillo was not lost: it was only selfishly and badly exploited by those who came after, taking advantage of what they had built with hard work, respect and passion. They exploited the immense work of Gilardino and Zangrillo, their commitment and dedication to these colors, without really understanding its value. Now head to Genoa and the Genoans! Forza Genoa! Forza Ragazzi!”.

Since this summer, Balotelli has worn the jerseys of Lumezzane, Inter, Manchester City, Milan, Liverpool, Nice, Marseille, Brescia, Monza, Adana Demirspor, Sione and Genoa in his career.
