It is Krampus time in South Tyrol and Trentino, with the classic scary masks accompanying St. Nicholas in parades. In this world now stands out the name of Luca Pojer, a sculptor from Salorno who has become famous for his wooden masks carved from stone pine, then painted and decorated with horns and fur. His works are unique pieces that are highly sought after by collectors, and with his latest work he has outdone himself: he has made a Jannik Sinner mask, clearly in a horror version, which will be sold to raise funds for the ’association ‘LuceMia’, a reality that works to organize various initiatives in support of children with cancer.

Thousands of comments from people from all over the world: the initiative deserves applause from all over the globe and is having a great echo thanks mainly to social networks. Born in 1993, Luca Pojer attended the Giambettino Cignaroli Academy of Fine Arts in Verona, one of the oldest fine arts institutions in Italy. The passion for masks was born when Pojer was a child, then as he grew up he decided to make them with his own hands. Who knows if news of the charity work will reach the ears of Jannik Sinner, who was in Dubai in recent days to prepare for the new season.

The San Candido star was also present at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on Sunday. Along with the racquet star were his father, brother, team, and beautiful girlfriend Laila Hasanovic. A video was posted on Formula 1’s official Instagram profile showing Jannik Sinner intent on talking to some executives. “Jannik Sinner: welcome back to the paddock!” reads the caption of the video, which clearly received a lot of ‘likes’ from fans. During the day, Jannik Sinner met with the drivers and Stefano Domenicali, who has a special relationship with the tennis player: the two are great friends and the Formula 1 president also attended the Atp Finals final in Turin for the challenge between the South Tyrolean and Carlos Alcaraz.

The two are great friends.

Domenicali is also a board member of the tennis player’s nonprofit foundation. After a few photos with some lucky fans, Sinner headed to the Mercedes box and chatted with Toto Wolff and George Russell, then together with his brother headed to the hot laps box. There he waited for a few minutes for Kimi Antonelli, his close friend, and the two then sped around the Yas Marina circuit in a 585-horsepower Mercedes AMG GT 63. Sinner then watched the Grand Prix that saw Max Verstappen triumph but Lando Norris, who finished third, was crowned World Champion with 423 points, 2 more than the Red Bull Dutchman.
