Cairo says goodbye to Vagnati: "I decided to change"
The’now former technical director of Torino Davide Vagnati, who has been replaced by Gianluca Petrachi, posted a message on his Instagram profile to bid farewell to the Granata club: “These have been intense years, lived with great responsibility and commitment”.
“To have represented such an important society has gratified and honored me, I thank the president and all those who have, together with me, lived and shared this long journey. Forza Vecchio Cuore Granata”.
President Urbano Cairo in a press conference greeted Vagnati this way: “Before leaving with the presentation of Gianluca, I would like to say a few words regarding Vagnati. We had a very good relationship, made a long and at the beginning bumpy and tiring path because he arrived with Covid. It was a difficult first season, then started a positive period with good championships together with Juric touching the Conference. Then Vanoli…It’s been an important period”.
“I decided to make change, but I thank Vagnati for his commitment without skimping on determination and drive. I wish him the best of luck”.
