Dorothea Wierer at foot of podium, Lisa Vittozzi behind

Another great race for Dorothea Wierer in the Hochfilzen sprint, where the Italian champion managed to score two clean poles and keep herself at the level of the best with a great run in the cross-country. In the end she was fourth at 27″9 from Lou Jeanmonnot, winning in a time of 19’59″4. Second and third place went to Norway’s Kirkeeide and Sweden’s Magnusson.
Lisa Vittozzi also brings to a close an excellent run on skis, which despite two errors in the shot, hoist the Sappadine to 14th place overall, 1 minute off the top.
The two top blue athletes are nevertheless in an excellent position ahead of Sunday’s pursuit (start at 2:45 p.m.). Samuela Comola finishes 39th with 1 error but 1’40” behind, Rebecca Passler stays just below 50th place almost 2 minutes behind the top and with 2 errors, while it is over 60th place Michela Carrara with 4 errors.
