Luciano Buonfiglio, double announcement on Federica Brignone and Sofia Goggia

CONI President Luciano Buonfiglio made an important announcement: “From the tests done, Federica Brignone will be competing in the Olympics, he confirmed it to me last night. Federica Brignone will be one of the standard-bearers at the opening ceremony on Feb. 6 in Cortina d’Ampezzo alongside Amos Mosaner, while Arianna Fontana and Federico Pellegrino will be present in Milan.

President Buonfiglio has only one regret: “Today I am happy but not overjoyed, because I would have liked to identify in Goggiaa gratification she deserves for her history.
