Florentin is experiencing a crisis without appeal or precedent, with a league roster that has never been seen in the club’s history. The Viola are increasingly last in Serie A, where they still have not won a single game after 15 league rounds. The last few weeks, moreover, have seen the lily team not even picking up more draws. That of the Franchi against Verona is the th consecutive defeat in the league, in a match that has now turned into a real direct clash for salvation. That, however, Florence now sees already 8 points away, while those in the farmyard are just 6. That is why the events of Sunday, December 14, have already caused consequences. Which could also affect Paolo Vanoli, but not necessarily.

For the time being, Fiorentina has decided to take some time regarding the future of its bench. However, the first decision on the part of the club was to close in a press silence, the second is to gather the team in training camp at Viola Park as early as Sunday afternoon and until a date to be determined. After the home loss to Verona, however, the Franchi crowd heavily protested the players, who even left the stadium and reached the sports center escorted by police. Regarding Vanoli, however, all is silent. Although the situation could in turn change at any moment.

.

The feeling, however, is that a further change of technical leadership may not come at least before the next Conference League engagement, taking into account that Fiorentina will leave for Lausanne as early as next Wednesday. It will almost certainly do so directly from the retreat, but once again with Vanoli in the coaching role. What will then happen ahead of the match against Udinese, scheduled for next Sunday and which will once again see an enraged Curva Fiesole. Especially since the appeal tests to revive the season seem to be definitely over, and the salvation train is also in danger of running away.

In the meantime, however, speculation is circulating as to who, if any, could take Vanoli&#8217s place in the event of the exoneration or even resignation of the former Torino coach. To rule out a return of Stefano Pioli, who would risk further exasperating the environment,

the scenarios lead to a promotion from the Primavera team of Daniele Galloppa or the recourse to traghettatori who specialize in attempting last-minute recoveries of extremely delicate seasons, such as Davide Ballardini or Beppe Iachini.

Already before the defeat to Verona, this year&#8217s Fiorentina had recorded nightmarish negative records. Such as 25 points less than a year ago, sweeping away Roma&#8217s 2004-2005 precedent (-19). In the year of the last relegation, 2002, the Viola after 15 days of Serie A were third last but with 14 points to their credit, the result of 4 wins, 2 draws and 9 defeats. Numbers that, paradoxically, today would represent a concrete breath of fresh air.
