Juventus reborn in Bologna: Luciano Spalletti explains the transformation

Juventus finally convincing in Bologna, where the precious 1-0 signed by Juan Cabal projected the Bianconeri not only to fifth place (overtaking precisely the Felsina team coached by Vincenzo Italiano). In fact, the Old Lady brings itself back to just one point away from the fourth place and from the Champions League dream, even if Roma still has to play its match on Monday, opposed to the insidious Como. Excellent signs then for Luciano Spalletti, outspoken in describing the performance provided by his team at the Dall’Ara stadium as the best since he sat on the bench vacated by Igor Tudor.

Bayern Munich, farewell to the two champions: Juventus wants them both
The HCL club is looking for experienced elements to shore up the team
In Juve’s crosshairs there is Leon Goretzka, whose contract with Bayern Munich is expiring
The'renewal option is very complicated, more likely that the champion leaves Germany
Goretzka is not part of the club’s future plans and is proto to a new experience
In addition to Juventus, on his tracks there'is also José Mourinho’s Benfica
Even Raphaël Guerreiro will most likely leave Bayern Munich
The Portuguese fullback is very much liked by Juventus: the Bianconeri consider him ideal to reinforce the team
Juve would like to sign him for free in the summer but also for Guerreiro there's competition from Mourinho
The Special One would even like to move up the timetable by buying the full-back in January
Unlikely, however, Vincent Kompany will deprive himself of it in the winter
The technician greatly esteems Guerreiro and would like to work with him at least until the end of the season

“This is definitely the most beautiful and important victory since my arrival at Juventus – Spalletti admitted to ‘DAZN’ -All the more so since we were facing Bologna, a team of great value, enthusiasm and strength. They do a great job, as shown by the fact that they created problems for us even after being down to 10 men. Winning on such a field further increases the merits of the team. So tonight you really have to say bravo to my players. Who, for that matter, I had already seen energetic and responsive in training. Good things, on their part, had been seen for a long time”.

Spalletti then dwelt on some of his Juventus individualities. Starting with Cabal, author of the match-winning goal: “He has leg and strength, but maybe he can still learn in certain cases to correct his emotions. I&#8217m breaking him a little bit, because for the value he has so far he has played far too dirty. But he&#8217s a very talented guy, plus he&#8217s one of those players who can make it twenty times in one game to the 100-yard dash with full fire. That is what he can give”. Kudos also for Lois Openda, himself revitalized: “He is a different footballer. Sometimes he looks to me more like a second forward than a first forward. And maybe he is even better against opponents like Bologna, because he can unleash pure power and speed”.

Juventus routed Bologna at 64′ of the match at the Dall’Ara. That was the minute of the corner handled by Yildiz with a triangulation in the strait, then crossing into the box and rewarding Cabal̶s great goring behind Ravaglia. Landlords then in ten men as early as 69′, due to Heggem’s expulsion.

It should be noted that on Saturday, December 20, Juventus will face the very Roma currently fourth in the Serie A standings, in a clash at this point even more important for the race toward the Champions League. Bologna, on the other hand, will stop until beyond Christmas, engaged in the Italian Super Cup.
