Milan market, breakthrough on Mike Maignan’s future

The future of Mike Maignan is always at the center of market rumors due to the expiration of the French goalkeeper’s contract, which could be released in June on a zero-parameter basis. The transalpine defender’s agents have been in talks with club emissaries for some time in search of an agreement: the Diavolo is also willing to make sacrifices in order to confirm the player, who is proving to be crucial this season as well. At DAZN’s microphones, sporting director Igli Tare revealed that the feelings are very good: “I never talked about numbers, but talking about Mike is easy. We are happy with him, he likes being at Milan and we like having him”.

The eyes of several big names have settled on the Verona-born goalkeeper and an auction could be triggered in the summer soccer session.

Illan Meslier has an expiring contract with Leeds and could leave England for free to experience a new league. Still on the market, Tare had this to say about the possible arrival of a striker: “In January it is difficult to find players who can change something, but we will be careful”.
