Victor Wenbanyama is getting taller
The 21-year-old NBA star still hasn’t stopped growing
The giant Spurs center in recent months has grown another inch and a half
His official height is now that of 2.23 meters, up from 2.22 last season

"I have been working very hard on my physique", explained the French player

"I think I reached my full potential in just one summer"
"I’ve made so much progress, I’m stronger and the scale also says bigger"

Wembanyama overcame the venous thrombosis in his right shoulder from which he had suffered last February
The San Antonio star in 46 games averaged 24.3 points and 11 rebounds
"Spending time in a Shaolin monastery was an incredible experience", revealed the Frenchman
"I stepped out of my comfort zone, I wanted to do it but I didn’t expect an experience at the physical level so different"

Driven by the usual Brunson, author of 40 points, the Knicks got rid of the Magic: 132-120 the final. A 10-0 break in the third period in favor of the Knicks was decisive. Not enough, on the other side, were Banchero&#8217s 25 points, with also eight rebounds.

Super surprise in the’other NBA Cup semifinal where San Antonio managed to tick off OKC, i.e., the best team of the moment in the entire NBA. The Spurs won 111-109, at the end of a hard-fought game. Decisive Wembanyama. Absent for as many as 12 games, the Spurs’all-star returned at the right time, putting up 21 points in 21 minutes of play. Bitter Gilgeous-Alexander: 29 points but no finish.

It should be noted that the Thunder had not lost a game since last Nov. 5 and, last year, had lost the NBA Cup finals.
