In Sunday’s rich football program (here, continuously updated, the probable formations of numerous matches to be played throughout Europe on the day) there is also the Premier League match between West Ham and Aston Villa, scheduled for 3 p.m.

.

The hosts, despite a good squad, are experiencing unforeseen difficulties and are third to last in the standings with 13 points won in their first 15 games. Nuno Espirito Santo hopes to reverse the trend as early as against Aston Villa but, given the opponents&#8217 state of form, it will be anything but easy. Defending the goal will be Areola, helped by Mavropanos, Todibo and Kilman. Wan-Bissaka and Diouf will man the outside lanes, in the middle space for Rodriguez and Paquetá. Wilson offensive reference with Bowen and Fernandes in support.

Unai Emery’s Aston Villa is flying and is coming off eight consecutive wins between the league and Europa League. A win against West Ham would allow Watkins and his teammates to go within -3 of’Arsenal in the lead: a very good chance. Between the posts will be Martinez as usual, in front of him Maatsen, Torres, Konsa and Cash. Onana and Kamara will act as a dam in front of the defense, McGinn, Tielemans and Rogers will act behind Watkins.
