Sampdoria market, disgruntled bomber may arrive

Ahead of the January market, the name circulating most insistently at Sampdoria is that of Matteo Brunori. The 31-year-old striker is going through a period of poor employment at Palermo: in the last four days he has always been on the bench. However, this season he has put together 11 appearances, with 1 goal and 1 assist in the Rosanero shirt. A situation that certainly does not make him happy.
Brunori has slipped back in Pippo Inzaghi’s technical choices and was not even used last Friday in Palermo’s win against Sampdoria at the Barbera. The Sicilian club could therefore consider a loan transfer, opening the door to the Blucerchiata option or, alternatively, to a destination that does not represent a direct rival in the promotion race.

The class of 1994 was born in MacaƩ, Brazil, in the state of Rio de Janeiro, to a family of Italian descent. He was only one year old when he moved to Umbria, where his maternal grandparents resided. In Serie B he has already gained experience both with Pescara and in Liguria, wearing the shirt of Virtus Entella.
