Juventus market: Spalletti kicks off one transfer and blocks another'another

Juventus is working on the outgoing market: some players little used by Luciano Spalletti could leave the Bianconeri in January if the right offer arrives. Among them is the enigma Joao Mario. The Portuguese full-back, who arrived in the summer from Porto for 12 million euros, is a real mystery item in the Bianconeri squad and could soon say goodbye to Turin to move to another club. After difficulties with Igor Tudor, his situation has even worsened with the arrival of coach Luciano Spalletti, who has hardly used him in his first games as Bianconeri coach.

Bayern Munich, farewell to the two champions: Juventus wants them both
The HCL club is looking for experienced elements to shore up the team
In Juve’s crosshairs there is Leon Goretzka, whose contract with Bayern Munich is expiring
The'renewal option is very complicated, more likely that the champion leaves Germany
Goretzka is not part of the club’s future plans and is proto to a new experience
In addition to Juventus, on his tracks there'is also José Mourinho’s Benfica
Even Raphaël Guerreiro will most likely leave Bayern Munich
The Portuguese fullback is very much liked by Juventus: the Bianconeri consider him ideal to reinforce the team
Juve would like to sign him for free in the summer but also for Guerreiro there's competition from Mourinho
The Special One would even like to move up the timetable by buying the full-back in January
Unlikely, however, Vincent Kompany will deprive himself of it in the winter
The technician greatly esteems Guerreiro and would like to work with him at least until the end of the season

Since the Tuscan coach has been there, Joao Pedro has in fact played only two games for a total of 27′: considering his previous employment with Tudor, Joao Mario has played only 8 matches for a little more than 350′ of games. Too little for a footballer who does not want to miss the tour of the national team ahead of the 2026 World Cup in North America: in January, the agents of the class of 2000 will look for an alternative solution to relaunch himself elsewhere. Juventus is willing to listen to offers and would be ready for either a permanent transfer (at the right offer) or a loan with right or obligation of redemption.

Spalletti has instead blocked the transfer of Mattia Perin. The Juventus goalkeeper is one of the most highly rated deputies in Europe but has played just four games between Serie A and the Champions League, and rumors about his future have multiplied over the past few weeks. Genoa in particular is looking for a goalkeeper and according to reports has put the former great in its sights, so much so that it has made a poll with Juventus. The Bianconeri, however, would immediately shut the door: at the moment for Juventus Perin is indispensable as Michele Di Gregorio’s deputy, and Spalletti definitely does not want to do without him at midseason.

In the summer market, things could change for Mattia Perin, who may express a desire to return as a starting goalkeeper, but a turnaround in the winter is practically impossible, even from the player himself, who so far has never complained about his employment in Turin.

Spalletti after the victory in Bologna spoke this way about his team’s transformation: “Winning on such a field further increases the merits of the team. So tonight you really have to say bravo to my players. Who, by the way, I had already seen energetic and responsive in training. Good things, on their part, had been seen for a long time”.
