Made-up rule for Bologna-Juventus riles Fabio Caressa

The invented rule irritates Fabio Caressa: the reference, blatant, is to the TV debate that broke out after the penalty not awarded to Juventus for a push from Bologna defender Jhon Lucumì to Juventus forward Jonathan David during the match at the Dall’Ara then won by the guests by a narrow margin thanks to the goal scored by Juan David Cabal in the second half. It was a success that allowed Luciano Spalletti’s team to bypass the Felsinei and move closer to the top four positions, the ones that count to qualify for the next Champions League.

“We have come to the point of understanding from you if I have to get used to watching another soccer than what I was used to – the Sky Sport journalist was keen to point out -Because I see things that do not interest me, I hear and see things that do not interest me. I hear talk in arbitrese and I keep seeing situations that do not interest me. Since it has been said that pushing with one hand is not a foul, while pushing with two hands is… But I say, when did this rule come into being? Have you ever seen it written down anywhere? Is there an official certification to help referees? It is a serious question”.

In the much-anticipated challenge that closed out the top league Sunday, Bologna was off to a strong start, with Di Gregorio decisive within seconds on Pobega and then on Orsolini. Cambiaghi also tried, then Juventus grew. Bravo to Ravaglia on Yildiz, who when he made himself dangerous again was closed down by Zortea. David protested after the aforementioned contact in the area with Lucumì, then found the way to the goal, which, however, was not validated for offside. The match directed by Massa remained extremely vibrant, as confirmed by the crossbar hit by Zortea in the first half recovery.

The resumption opened with another refereeing episode, this time contested by Bologna: a possible hand in the box on Cambiaghi’s initiative did not lead to a penalty. Instead, at 64′ the goal arrives, and Juventus scores it. Yildiz crosses into the box on the development of a corner, Cabal anticipates Zortea and strikes it in behind Ravaglia.

The hosts are also left with ten men due to a direct red against Heggem, who in 69′ stops Openda thrown to the net with the bad guys, and the result does not change anymore. Not even after another contact in the area, this time between Conceiçao and Lucumì, and attempts by the former Bernardeschi and Openda.
