Milan, Igli Tare accelerates for new center forward: contacts already underway

The challenge, which was drawn, with Sassuolo confirmed, if ever there was a need, how Milan absolutely needs a central striker who can guarantee them weight in attack and, above all, goals. The Diavolo, at the moment, is blunt. Rafa Leao, as the nine, does not give great guarantees while Santiago Gimenez, also due to constant injuries, has failed to take the starting striker role decisively. Christopher Nkunku, who arrived this summer, is also disappointing expectations. Sure, there’s Christian Pulisic, the Rossoneri&#8217s top scorer this season, but that can&#8217t be enough.

Rossoneri market man Igli Tare, before the challenge with Sassuolo, was clear: if there are chances, Milan will try to take them. In short, something is being tried. Specifically, according to Tuttosport, the Rossoneri sporting director has reportedly initiated contacts with the entourage of striker Niclas Fullkrug. Currently on the sidelines at West Ham, the mighty center forward is considered the ideal profile to lend a hand to Max Allegri, so that the Rossoneri coach can have more solutions to choose from and, above all, a striker he can ask to score goals.

The problem is that Milan, before presenting a’real offer to West Ham for Niclas Fullkrug, needs to make space. At the moment, the main suspect to pack up answers to the name of Santiago Gimenez. The Mexican is still supported by the management (Igli Tare has spoken nice words for him, saying that he will be waited on and that he is part of the team) but it is clear that, in the Diavolo’s current roster, it is Santiago Gimenez himself who is the man closest to a farewell to make room for the new center forward. In fact, there would be clubs ready to step up should he be put, officially, on the market.

Niclas Fullkrug is not the’only option, although, at this moment, he seems to be in pole position among Milan&#8217s desiderata. Joshua Zirkzee (also sought by Roma) and Fabio Silva, another intriguing name, also remain in the running. Also not to be discarded is the hypothesis that leads to Gabriel Jesus, a name that the square would love.

It seems, however, more of a suggestion that of Mauro Icardi. The’former Inter striker seems to have reached the end of his adventure in Turkey with Galatasaray but it seems unlikely that he could wear the Milan jersey, given his past at Inter (although the relationship did not end well).
