Kimi Antonelli says no to Ferrari for now

Kimi Antonelli was the big star of the Caschi d’Oro and Volanti ACI 2025. During the award ceremony he also spoke about his future with words that immediately made the rounds of the web: “Running for Ferrari is beautiful, but I am very happy with where I am and I am grateful for the opportunity Mercedes has given me. The dream at the moment is to win a World Championship with them, then in the future we will see”. And again:“Ferrari is a team that has incredible greatness. Next year will be a great opportunity for us drivers because we will all start from scratch. Nobody knows what to expect from the cars. Obviously I have done a lot of simulator work, however, it is still early to be able to say what the car will be like. I&#8217m looking forward to 2026. It all looks promising, even if you don&#8217t know where your opponents are. It would be great to be able to fight for victories and possibly the championship”.

Time to take stock after a first season closed in seventh place overall: “I would say it was quite positive, we could have done better. Despite the not-so-positive period, I managed to get out of that negative loop and that made me grow a lot as a person and as a rider.
