Atalanta, three-week stop for Berat Djimsiti

Bad news for Atalanta and Raffaele Palladino: Cerat Djimsiti, who was injured in the last Serie A match against Cagliari, suffered a first-degree fascial injury of the right hamstring muscle.
The Dea central defender will still be forced to stay in the pits for about three weeks. Djimsiti will therefore miss the upcoming matches against Genoa and Inter Milan and hopes to recover for the match against Roma on Jan. 3, but he is more likely to miss both the one with the Giallorossi and the one with Bologna on Jan. 7.
against Genoa Palladino will be able to count on Hien, who has recovered from the’flu and will be assisted by Scalvini and Kolasinac since Kossounou, like Lookman, is engaged in the African Cup of Nations. In attack, possible chance for Pasalic, but also watch out for Maldini.
Berat Djimsiti, 32, born in Zurich, arrived at Atalanta in January 2016 and then, after two seasons on loan at Avellino in Serie B and Benevento in Serie A, returned to La Dea in 2018 and has so far totaled 308 appearances and 11 goals among all competitions.
