BSportING: blue gymnasts and athletes bring Christmas gifts to hospitalized children

For the second year in a row, the BSportING Amateur Sports Association, with the collaboration of its members and their families, has carried out an initiative of great human value: the preparation and delivery of 150 gift packages destined for the young patients of the pediatric oncohematology department of the Spedali Civili of Brescia.

The delivery took place on Wednesday in the presence of Health Director Dr. Fulvio Porta and Dr. Chiara Gorio, together with some representatives of the sports group linked to the Order of Engineers of Brescia. Making the meeting even more special were the exceptional testimonials: Italian national team gymnasts Angela Andreoli and Asia D’Amato, and Brixia-Le Aquile parkour world champion Andrea Consolini, who brought enthusiasm and smiles among the young inpatients.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Fulvio Porta, the director of the hospital, and Dr. Chiara Gorio, the sports director of the Order of Engineers of Brescia.

During the visit, the young sportsmen personally delivered packages to the hospitalized children, experiencing moments of great emotion and sharing. Some young patients even asked Andrea Consolini to perform spectacular jumps, turning the day into an unforgettable memory.

The initiative was made possible thanks to the support of important national companies such as Innova Group, Martini SpA, Amica Chips, Valledoro, and Mapei, as well as territorial companies such as Florarici, Antis Group, Bosco Corsica Pasticceria, Ellepi, PAC, GnaliBocia, Alfan, and Tirolcom, whose donations made it possible to prepare the gift packs.

Great satisfaction was expressed by the promoters of the initiative, Marco Bresciani and Luca Ferrigato, who emphasized how, once again, the collaboration among the association’s members made it possible to realize an extraordinary gesture for the “little lions” of the ward.
