Sir Susa Vim Perugia triumphs once again on the roof of the world.
The Club World Cup final in Bangalore, India was a real walk in the park for Angelo Lorenzetti’s Block Devils.
With four wins out of four matches played, they demonstrated great quality and compactness, winning 12 sets without losing a single one.
The team confirmed the title it won last year in Brazil, bringing the'eleventh trophy in the company&#039s trophy case.
A wonderful achievement, achieved thanks to the great work of the coach and his staff.
But not only that: success is also thanks to a group of athletes who are first and foremost great men, as well as great champions.
This World Cup, won far from our borders, was a triumph for the whole team, a perfect idea of the game and collaboration among the players.

The credit was also due to the president and management cadres, who together with the many sponsors, are the real driving force of the society.
In addition, winning the Italian Supercup in Biella this season represents a solid foundation on which to build again.
In the final, Perugia’s Block Devils dominated the field, keeping the game always under control.
The'only small lapse in the second set was promptly resolved, and the match ended with a clear victory for the Italian team.
The'MVP of the event was Oleh Plotnytskyi, but Giannelli, Solè and the Ukrainian himself received individual awards for their incredible performances.
It is not just a single player who is the best, but the'whole team: the HCL group showed all its unity, even in this long and difficult trip to faraway India.
From Wednesday the tight rhythms of work resume their course because the season is long and intense.
It's the'beginning of a new period full of challenges and opportunities.

Osaka took the fourth set by finding the final breakthrough and dragging the match to the tiebreak: a last fraction that provided a real spectacle, with continuous changes of front, fiery serves and full-fire attacks. A tiebreak that ended in advantages with the Block Devils eventually taking the match by winning the fifth partial 23-21. Coach Lorenzetti fielded the same sextet as in Tuesday’s opener, with Dzavoronok, who came in on the run, giving the team solidity in all fundamentals finishing with 10 points with 3 aces and 70% in attack. Also in double figures were Loser and Semeniuk, who finished with 12 and 16 points respectively, and Wassim Ben Tara, the best scorer in the HCL half with 21 points including an ace and no less than 5 walls.

And it was precisely the wall that proved to be the Block Devils’ devastating weapon in this match, which was closed by Perugia with as many as 19 winning blocks. “The boys played the match we wanted – commented coach Angelo Lorenzetti -In my opinion they were always there, which doesn’t mean we did everything right; there were moments when we were ahead where they recovered us, maybe we were a bit contracted, however it was the match we wanted to play. We are happy because we won, now we have to recover a little bit, the championship we want is long and we want to play five games!”.

Satisfied also Wassim Ben Tara: “We saw that the level of this World Cup has risen compared to last year. Today was a really tough game and the important thing is that we won. We knew from the beginning that it was going to be tough because they defend so much. Ours was a good reaction”.

He was echoed by Agustin Loser: “It was a good battle! Tomorrow we have another final and we want to finish first in the round. We knew this was a game where we had to play very well in wall-defense because they have very good reception, so it was difficult, but we were very good!”.
