Jannik Sinner ends the year with another award

Jannik Sinner has been named ITF World Champion 2025. This is the second consecutive award for l’Azzurro, the first tennis player to be named ITF World Champion in men&#8217s singles two years in a row since Novak Djokovic, who won the award for five consecutive years from 2011 to 2015. On the women’s side, however, the special award went to world number one Aryna Sabalenka, while in doubles triumphs went to Italy’s Sara Errani and Jasmine Paolini.

Alcaraz ended the year as world number one

Sinner reached the finals in all four Grand Slam tournaments in 2025, beating Alexander Zverev to confirm his title at the Australian Open and overcoming defending champion Carlos Alcaraz to win his first Wimbledon. He was instead defeated by the Spaniard in the finals of Roland Garros and the US Open. The South Tyrolean champion ended the season on a high note with four more titles: the ATP 500s in Beijing and Vienna, the Paris Masters 1000, and the ATP Finals in Turin.

The 11 players we award today have had extraordinary seasons and we are confident that they will continue to shine in 2026. We wish them and all players a rejuvenating end-of-season break and the best for the coming year”.

Sinner thus closes the season with another prestigious award after the’ATP ‘Fans’ Favourite’ award reserved for the’favorite athlete of all the fans in the world. Not even the Clostebol case and fierce criticism on social media from various haters have dented the dominance of the South Tyrolean tennis player, who has won it for the third consecutive year.

The Italian star thus confirmed himself as the most beloved by the public, winning an award won 19 times in the past by Roger Federer, and once by Rafael Nadal. “Thank you very much for voting for me”, Sinner said in a special message to all fans.
